Todd is the author
of FreePOS... and he is an expert in restaurant
automation. Years ago, after working with a
local chain of restaurants, Todd launched
Forensic Detective - a popular MICROS support
website. While running "Detective" he did
consulting work for more than 30 restaurants up
and down the East Coast. Prior to that, Todd
owned a software consulting firm based in
Roanoke, Virginia which did work in the Mid
Atlantic for small & medium sized businesses.
Todd is an active
musician and plays keyboard synthesizers. He is
planning a CD release (his first) soon. The CD
will be distributed on this and other websites,
so check back often. Todd has been known to
"play a gig" at the restaurants where FreePOS is
installed... "It's lots of fun to play The Keys
and it keeps the boredom down to minimum on the
first night a system goes live," remarked Todd
in a recent interview.
Hazard In The
Todd enjoys the
restaurant business and over the years has
become a pretty good line cook. "I still can't
crack eggs open in one hand without generating
unpredictable results... but I make a mean
Chicken Picato," joked Todd at a local
Restaurant Owners speaking engagement.
In The USA...
that small business is the heart beat of
America... and that if we want to continue
making the USA a great place, we're going to
have to embrace and recognize how much of the
country's workload is done by Mr. and Mrs. Small
Todd has two boys
(ages 12 and 15). His wife of 17 years, Lisa,
is a 5th grade elementary school teacher. Todd
is active in politics and periodically talks
back to Fox News, CBS, CNN and other TV
broadcasts based on his mood and viewpoint de
jour. Todd has been an active Democrat,
Independent and Republican - often at the same
time depending on who was running for office.
